Life - A Journey

The cliff of the mountain was very high,
I had learned to look at the sky,
Where the limit was not defined,
I had chosen the path that saw was undefined.

In the race with the life,
You can never win,
You can aspire though that prize,
The way is not an easy road,
Its a terrain full of stones.

Each stone that you cross,
Tears apart your skin,
Makes you one bit more strong.
When you become callous,
to your own pains,
Surprizes are in store for you,
To weaken you at the deepest vein.

You learn to suffer,
Yet you learn to ignore it,
Learnings come to you faster,
And its a strange game,
The game is called life,
The goal is to survive,
The one who wins,
Does not conquers death,
He is the one who lives,
Life in a true sense.
